According to Sir Nickolaus Pevsner, Hampsetead Garden Suburb is 'the most nearly perfect example of the unique English invention and speciality - the Garden Suburb.' With it's twin churches and former institute, this was Sir Edwin Lutyens' greatest peice of civic design prior to New Dehli.
