Established by Thomas Heatherwick in 1994, Heatherwick Studio Is recognised for works in the fields of architecture, urban infrastructure and design. The practice operates from a studio and workshop in King’s Cross, London, where teams of over 80 architects, designers and makers work on projects that include commercial, residential and industrial buildings, city master-plans and bridges. The studio is an environment in which projects are managed, implemented and delivered in conjunction with a process of hands-on experimentation with ideas, materials and manufacturing processes.
Designer Stuart Wood and Architect Peter Ayres will give an insight into the design process behind some of the studio’s most important projects.
