Open for one day, Global Generation’s Skip Garden is a self-sustaining vegetable garden with a twist – it’s moveable. As different areas are developed in King’s Cross, the skips are moved to new locations within the development site. The Skip Garden is the work of many hands and has been created and gardened by young people from the area, construction workers and volunteers from the Guardian.
Young people involved with Global Generation are being trained to become social innovators who are building gardens as well as inspiring others to imagine and create a new and sustainable future.
Please come, rest a while and visit us!
