Tracking the riverbank before heading landwards into the centre of a developing cluster of high-rise towers, this walk, led by the Blue Badge Guides as part of The Developing City exhibition, demonstrates the complexity of inserting massive 21st century developments into what is essentially still a tight medieval street plan. We look at the architecture, construction and environmental requirements of these buildings, and will see work by Foggo Associates, Rogers Stirk Harbour and Kohn Pedersen Fox amongst others.
